MOHWA GLOBAL El-Paso

MOHWA Queens – El Paso, Texas

MOHWA Texas was established in 2023, bringing together Queens from across the state with a shared vision of bringing together Manyu women by birth or marriage to sisterhood, unity, and community service.

As the organization evolved, the vast size of Texas and the increasing number of Queens living in different cities created a need for more localized branches. In 2024, MOHWA El Paso, Texas became an independent branch, continuing the foundation and vision that began with MOHWA Texas.

Since becoming independent, MOHWA El Paso has maintained a steady and committed membership. While our numbers have remained relatively stable, our focus has been on strengthening our sisterhood and increasing our impact within the El Paso community.

Community outreach has remained an important part of our mission. In the winter of 2025, we supported the Child Crisis Center, reaching out to children and families in need. In August 2026, we extended our outreach to Alas Nuevas, a rehabilitation shelter for women, providing support, encouragement, and charitable assistance.

Through these efforts, MOHWA El Paso, Texas continues to demonstrate that our strength is not measured only by the number of members we have, but by the lives we touch and the difference we make. We remain committed to empowering women, supporting vulnerable women and children, and serving the greater El Paso community with compassion and purpose.
